Pumpkin Bread

Prep Time: 25 minutes

Feeds: 6-8 people. Yields 2 large loaves.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3.5 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2  cups pumpkin
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)


Combine all dry ingredients. Then add the wet ingredients. Fold in optional ingredients Mix until smooth and pour into 2 greased 9×5 inch pans. Baked at 350°F for about 1 hour (until toothpick comes out clean).
